Where to sleep in Ghent

We only spent one night in Ghent (unfortunately), so we decided to treat ourselves by booking a room at 1898 The Post. Simply incredible!
A boutique hotel housed in an emblematic historic building in the heart of Ghent, in the former post office, The Post is located in Graslei, right next to Sint-Michielsbrug.
The building is beautiful both inside and outside. The rooms are decorated in a warm style, with dark green walls, high ceilings, and antique furniture, complementing the building’s late 19th-century architecture. Some rooms – like ours – are located on two different floors, where the second houses a shower and sink. Very welcoming, cozy, and fashionable!
The only downside I remember is that we opted for having breakfast outside, but from the picture of The Kitchen I can only imagine how good it would have been.
