We only spent one day in Bruges, so we hadn’t had the chance to try several places, especially in terms of restaurants. Yet, we found some very good options to eat and sleep in Bruges!
Where to eat in Bruges
In case you are going to spend one day only in Bruges, just like we did, then consider having a very quick lunch – grab a sandwich somewhere – and then choose a nice place for dinner, as you will want to relax a bit after an entire day of hanging around.
Breakfast
Aux Merveilleux De Fred
- FOOD 8,5/10
- LOCATION 6,5/10
- PRICE €/€€€
- RESERVATION NEEDED no
Aux Merveilleux De Fred counts several locations around the world. We chose it thanks to the eye-catching windows.
And they didn’t disappoint us. Rather, they did their job of taking us inside and make us order a big chocolate cramique. So so so good! Eaten freshly baked, these very big brioches with chocolate chips are perfect for a delicious breakfast!
And this is me, craving this magical breakfast! As you can see, it was the size of my face.
Dinner
Bistro Zwart Huis
- FOOD 8/10
- LOCATION 8/10
- PRICE €€/€€€
- RESERVATION NEEDED yes
A very nice location for this typical Belgian restaurant, Bistro Zwart Huis can be a bit chaotic, but the atmosphere is really nice and friendly, the furnishing is very cool and food is typical Belgian. I opted for a very tasty Vlaamse stoverij – Flemish stew.
Done with suggestions to eat in Bruges, time to talk where to sleep in Bruges!
